We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. That's why we have a flexible cancellation policy for bookings. Keep in mind however, each vessel and the type of trip are subject to different cancellation policies. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy page for all details.

Bad Kitty and Calypso Charters is based out of sunny St John. Our Bad Kitty trips pick up in both Cruz Bay St John and American Yacht Harbor St Thomas. Calypso (unless it is a private trip) only picks up in Cruz Bay at The International Boat Dock. Private trips can be picked up at American Yacht Harbor St Thomas, Sapphire bay St Thomas and Cruz Bay St John.

For trips leaving from the International Boat Dock, we suggest parking at The Lumberyard (pay-to-park) on St. John or Sunshine Parking in Red Hook on St. Thomas.

Bad Kitty 1 and 2 can both comfortably and legally hold 32 people. We try to cap our open trips at 28 guests to maximize comfort. Calypso can hold 30 people and we try to cap her trips at 25 people for maximum comfort. Tropicat has a max of 6 guests and Cat5 has a maximum of 12.

The swim into the Baths is about 50 yards. Our experienced crew will help any and all non-swimmers or those who are uncomfortable swimming in. On days with rough weather and seas we may take a Taxi to the top of the Baths and walk down.

All of our boats besides Tropicat have fully functioning marine heads aka bathrooms.

Our open full day trips, come with continental breakfast of fresh fruit and locally made banana bread. We offer an open bar of vodka, gin, rum, Budweiser, Coors lite, red and white wine, Champagne along with cranberry juice, pineapple juice, orange juice , CokeCola, Diet Coke, Sprite, ginger ale, club soda and tonic water. Fresh drinking water is always available. Sunset trips have the same open bar along with light assorted apps of cheese, crackers, veggies and dips.

Yes, we offer $20 dollars off for locals with a valid Virgin Islands ID.
